ALL ABOUT FILM
Due Date (2010)
Due Date sees an aspiring father forced to travel across the U.S with an wannabe actor in order to get to the birth of his child.
This film was a box standard mediocre film; it brought nothing new to the table of comedy. Yeah it was funny in parts and it was filmed well, with a great highway chase sequence, but aside from that it was rather..well, boring.
As always Robert Downey is great and Zach Galifianakis steals the show much like in The Hangover, but I felt this film would have been a little cooler if Galifianakis played the same character and the film to be a sequel to the Hangover, but one that wasn’t directly linked.
Due Date is an okay film and funny for the most part, but it’s certainly a film that will disappear into bargain buckets when it’s released on DVD.
