Back To The Future: 25th Anniversary re-release (2010)
Marty Mcfly is sent from 1985 back to the year 1955, when he accidental messes up his parents past and is forced to bring them together before he disappears from existence forever.
Seeing this on the big screen for the first time in all it’s glory was amazing to say the least. Being born in 1988 I never got to see this gem when it was first released, so you can imagine my excitement when I laid eyes on the poster for the 25th anniversary re-release. I couldn’t wait and the other night I managed to catch it and enjoy it like never before.
And thats what it was like, it felt as if I had never seen the film before. Back To The Future in HD and with the amazing sound system of the cinema really gave it something I had never felt before….wait…it made me feel like I had travelled back in time to 1985 and was watching it for the first time! Okay maybe that’s thinking to far into it, but boy what a pleasure it was to see this classic on the big screen.
This is not only the best film about time travel, but also one of the most pinnacle films to come out of the 80s. Now make like a tree and get outta here.
